Organization of Turkic States Heads of Government Meeting
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz also attended the meeting in Bishkek, which brought together the heads of government of the OTS member countries.
The first meeting of the prime ministers and vice presidents of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member countries was held in Bishkek.
The meeting was held at the Congress Center in the capital Bishkek, chaired by Adilbek Kasymaliyev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. The summit was attended by Deputy President of the Republic of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olcas Bektenov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and TDT Secretary General Kubanichbek Omuraliev.
The meeting addressed issues of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, transportation, digitalization, energy, and agriculture.
President Kasymaliyev emphasized that in recent years, the Turkic States Organization has transformed from a dialogue platform into a strong regional union. Kasymaliyev recalled that Kyrgyzstan holds the TDT chairmanship this year and stated that they attach particular importance to developing economic cooperation during their chairmanship.
Kazakhstan Prime Minister Bektenov stated that, thanks to the constructive policies of the heads of state, important initiatives forming the strategic foundations of the TDT have been implemented in a planned manner. Azerbaijan Prime Minister Asadov, meanwhile, drew attention to the importance of the Turkic states joining forces for stability, security, and prosperity.
Turkish Vice President Yılmaz said that the TDT has become one of the most important elements in the development, progress, and integration of the region by strengthening solidarity among member countries.
The summit ended with a joint statement noting the achievements made during Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in 2024–2025.
