The statement said, "Due to the intense Israeli attacks in Gaza City, we were forced to suspend our operations." It was noted that the security situation deteriorated because of Israel’s merciless attacks in Gaza City.
The statement emphasized that the increased attacks posed an unacceptable risk level for MSF personnel, forcing the suspension of MSF's vital medical activities.
MSF Gaza Emergency Coordinator Jacob Granger was quoted in the statement, saying, "We had no choice but to suspend our operations because our clinics were surrounded by Israeli forces. Needs in Gaza City are immense, and the most vulnerable cannot move. Infants in neonatal care, severely injured patients, and those with life-threatening illnesses are in great danger, and this was the last thing we wanted."

WHO announced that 369 deaths due to malnutrition were reported in Gaza between January 1 and September 12.
Jasarevic spoke at the weekly press briefing of the United Nations (UN) Geneva Office.
He noted that evacuation demands in Gaza City, where Israel has implemented its occupation plan, have affected hundreds of health facilities, and even when evacuation is not requested, hospitals can become non-functional due to limited access and nearby violence.
Jasarevic said, "Gaza City forms the backbone of the Gaza Strip's health system. Almost half of all hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including field hospitals, 46%, are located here. Hospitals in southern Gaza are operating far below capacity and cannot handle more. If these hospitals become non-functional, 36% of all bed capacity and 50% of intensive care beds in the Gaza Strip will be lost."
He noted that most reported attacks on health in recent weeks occurred in Gaza City, recalling that between September 7-17, 12 attacks were reported, 11 in Gaza City and 1 in Khan Yunus.
Jasarevic stated, "Hospitals in Gaza City are experiencing shortages of supplies, and patients are being treated on the floor. Critical shortages exist in blood units, components, blood bags, and transfusion sets. Without urgent replenishment, services could shut down within days. Due to ongoing attacks, hospitals need at least 350 units of blood daily."
Pointing to malnutrition in Gaza, Jasarevic added, "The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported 369 deaths due to malnutrition between January 1 and September 12. Of these, 97 were children, and 77 were under five years old."
Hamas: Israel’s detention of Palestinians reflects panic and chaos.

Shadid stated, "The intensified and increasingly frantic detention operations carried out this morning by the occupying Israeli forces, primarily in Nablus and various areas of the West Bank, reflect the panic and chaos experienced by the occupiers."
He recalled that Israel detained many people, including journalists, released Palestinians, academics, and politicians, noting that this demonstrates Israel’s systematic pressure policy aimed at breaking the will of Palestinians and weakening the social structure.
Shadid emphasized that Israel’s actions will not break the resistance and determination of the Palestinian people, but rather will increase Palestinians’ anger, their commitment to national rights, and rejection of any attempts to control the West Bank through annexation and displacement.
In the morning, the Israeli army detained 22 Palestinians, including 2 journalists, during a raid on Nablus city and its surrounding areas in the occupied West Bank.
